Ming Tombs
Scenic overview
The Ming Tombs, also known as the Ming Tombs, are located at the foot of Tianshou Mountain in the north of Changping District, Beijing. It is the site of the tombs of 13 Ming emperors. This complex began to be built from the seventh year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1409) to the early year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty, lasting more than 230 years, is the world’s complete imperial tomb group with the most emperors buried. In 1961, the Ming Tombs were listed by The State Council as the first batch of national key cultural relics under protection. In 2003, as an extension of the Ming and Qing imperial tombs, it was inscribed on the World Heritage List.

Traffic guide
By car: From downtown Beijing, take the G6 highway to Juyongguan Exit, then follow Changchi Road.
Bus: Take bus No. 872 from Deshengmen to the Ming Tombs; You can also take the 345 express train from Deshengmen West to Xihuan South Road and transfer to 872, 878, Chang 67, etc.
Subway: Take the Metro Changping Line to Xishankou Station, then transfer to the scenic circle bus.
