🚗 It takes 3.5 hours to get to Leshan by car from Chongqing for a pleasant journey!
🔸 Attractions:
Leshan Giant Buddha 🙏🏻
🎫 tickets have three options: A.80 yuan for a close-up view of the Buddha’s head; B. You can see the whole Buddha for 70 yuan; C.0 yuan can see the big Buddha.
A. Enter from the entrance of Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Spot, choose to hike up the mountain, you can see the big Buddha up close. (⚠️ From May 7 to May 31, 2024, the walkway will be closed for reinforcement and maintenance, during which you can only walk down to the Buddha’s head, not the foot.)
B. Tourists who just want to see Leshan Giant Buddha and are not able to walk around can buy a boat ticket, and the boat location is next to the visitor center or the pier of Wuyu Temple, which can directly photograph the front of the entire Leshan Giant Buddha. The cruise lasts 30 minutes and stops at the Big Buddha for 3 to 4 minutes.

C. In the opposite side of the river Leshan across the pier of the Binjiang Square, you can enjoy the big Buddha at a distance.

This is a national 4A level tourist scenic spot, and Leshan Big Buddha scenic spot has a door, located in the rear mountain of Leshan Big Buddha, also belongs to the world’s “double heritage” protection area.
