Itinerary arrangement
Day 1: Hong Kong to Beijing
In the morning, I took the high-speed train from Hong Kong and arrived in Beijing a few hours later. As soon as I got out of the station, I saw Xiao Li’s familiar figure. She enthusiastically took my luggage and showed me to the hotel where I had booked to check in. After a short rest, Xiao Li gave me an overview of Beijing and the following itinerary.
Day 2: Badaling Great Wall tour
The next day, we took a bus to Badaling Great Wall. Xiao Li told me that Badaling Great Wall is the most representative section of the Ming Great Wall, famous for its majestic momentum and perfect tourist facilities. On the Great Wall, feel the weight of history and human wisdom.
For lunch, we tasted authentic Peking duck and other specialties at the restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall.
In the afternoon, we continued our tour on the Great Wall and enjoyed the beautiful sunset scenery. As night fell, we took the bus back to the city.
Day 3: Downtown Cultural tour
On the third day, we visited the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. In the palace, I experienced the luxury and taste of the ancient royal family; In the Temple of Heaven, I felt the mystery and solemnness of ancient sacrificial culture.
Day 4: Summer Palace and return trip
On the last day, we went to the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace is an imperial garden that integrates gardens, architecture and culture. In the Summer Palace, I enjoyed the beautiful lake scenery and exquisite architecture, and felt the life atmosphere of the ancient royal family.
In the afternoon, take the high speed train back to Hong Kong. On the train, I shared with Xiao Li the feelings and harvest of this trip. This trip allowed me to enjoy the history, culture and natural beauty of Beijing,
