Guangzhou South Railway Station (Guangzhounan Railway Station) is located in Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China.

Also known as Guangzhou New Railway Station, Guangzhou Railway new passenger station, is a special station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., LTD.

Guangzhou South Railway Station connects the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway, Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong High-speed Railway, Guizhou-Guangzhou high-speed Railway, Nanzhou-Guangzhou Railway, Guangzhou-Zhuhai Urban Railway and the West Guangdong Coastal Railway.

It is the core railway station of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Pan-Pearl River Delta region, and is an important part of the railway hub of Guangzhou

Guangzhou South Railway Station began construction in December 2004 and was put into use on January 30, 2010.

As of 2019, the total construction area of Guangzhou South Railway Station is 615,000 square meters, the total station building area is 486,000 square meters, the total investment is 13 billion yuan, and the station yard has 15 stations and 28 lines. From the bottom up,

Guangzhou South Railway Station opens a convenient transfer service within the station. Passengers who purchase connecting tickets do not have to leave the station after arriving at the station, and can transfer and connect trains through the transfer area at the south end of the first floor.

Guangzhou South Railway Station is the largest and busiest railway station in China, with 1,340 high-speed trains during peak passenger traffic.

On October 6, 2023, 791,000 passengers arrived and departed from Guangzhou South Railway Station in a single day, of which 337,000 were sent and 454,000 were arrived.
In May 2024, the regional underground space and municipal supporting facilities project of Guangzhou South Railway Station was successfully completed and accepted.
