China Travel Guide

When foreigners travel to China, here are some recommended travel guides:

Visa and entry: Citizens of most countries still need to apply for a Chinese visa to visit China, but the good news is that Chinese embassies and consulates in various countries have completely cancelled the visa appointment system.

To make visa processing more convenient, foreigners need to report to their place of residence within 24 hours after entering China. If they stay in a hotel, the hotel staff will assist in completing the report.

Itinerary planning: Before traveling to China, it is recommended to reserve enough time to apply for a tourist visa to China (L visa).

It usually takes 4-5 working days from submitting an application to obtaining a visa. If you choose expedited service, you can obtain a visa within 1-2 working days.

Accommodation and transportation: If there is no inviter in China, prepare round-trip air tickets and hotel orders. If you choose to live in a friend or relative’s home, provide the corresponding travel invitation letter and the relevant documents of the inviter.

At the same time, according to Chinese laws, foreigners need to register for accommodation within 24 hours after checking in at a hotel.

Travel to special areas: When traveling to Tibet and Xinjiang, some attractions may not allow foreigners to enter. You may need to choose a hotel with a foreign-related qualification certificate and qualified to receive foreign guests. If you stay at a friend’s house, you also need to go to the police station to file for consent.

Document storage: During the tour, be sure to keep your passport and other documents to avoid loss or forgetting, so as to avoid unnecessary trouble.

Also, please note that China’s tourism resources are rich and diverse, and there are places worth visiting every month.

For example, Qingdao, Beihai, Zhangjiajie and Xitang in April, Qianhu Miao Village in Guizhou, Fenghuang Ancient Town in Hunan and Sichuan in May are all popular choices for foreign tourists.

It is recommended that foreign tourists consult relevant travel guides or official channels before traveling to obtain the latest and most accurate travel information. Remember to abide by local travel regulations and cultural customs.

Since travel policies and information may change over time, it is also recommended to verify relevant guides and suggestions again before traveling.
